Murto: The group of finalists is surprising

Murro is familiar with the pole vault finalists. The Finn says that he has defeated several competitors in the finals at some point in his career.

– There are not terribly many athletes in this group of finalists whose scalps I have never taken. That’s what I’ve been trying to think about. I have beaten several of them in some situation, Murto told Urheilu after the qualification.

According to Murro, the group of finalists is surprising.

– Many athletes missed the World Championships for one reason or another. We’re going to the final with an interesting group.
