A strange error in EA Sports FC 24 is currently making the rounds: Apparently Ada Hegerberg’s card is broken and causes a problem that has never been seen before.
This card is about: Ada Hegerberg is one of the best players in the French league and is on the ball for Olympique Lyon. In 2018, the attacker even won the title of World Player of the Year, and she also received a really strong rating in the new EA Sports FC 24.
With her 89 card she has one of the highest ratings in Ultimate Team and the card also impresses with strong shooting and dribbling values, as well as a weak foot with 4 stars and 4 more stars for skill moves.

Skill moves trigger strange error
That’s the problem: As several players have now discovered, there appears to be an error in Hegerberg’s map. As soon as you use a skill move with the striker, the ball suddenly stops lying and the player runs off without it.

In the editorial test, we found that the problem not only applies to Ultimate Team, but also to the kick-off mode.
What does that mean for you? You can still run, pass and shoot normally with Hegerberg, but the risk of making a mistake and therefore suddenly losing the ball is high. This is particularly bitter when you are just in front of the opponent’s goal and could actually take the lead.
The card currently costs around 20,000 coins on the transfer market, which is pretty cheap for an 89 card. But at the moment it is probably better to refrain from using them in the team. You should also be careful in the draft if the card is suggested to you.
What makes the error special? It is extremely unusual for such a bug to affect a single map in EA Sports FC 24. Strange bugs have been found every now and then throughout the FIFA series, but the fact that a particular card in particular is flawed in this form is unusual.
Hegerberg himself also noticed this and reacted humorously to the error (via X / Twitter):
