11 DEAD, 7 INJURED
Making a statement about the stampede at the concert of Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, Minister of Interior of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Daniel Aselo Okito said, “According to police records, 11 people died, 10 of them as a result of suffocation and crushing, and 7 people were sent to the hospital.” Minister Okito said that two police officers were among the dead.
