So big ideas, and you don’t just realize them. “We want our members to actively engage,” says Levin. “You can do that by participating in meetings and discussions and thus contributing to policy.” It is also possible to participate in demonstrations, or even organize them “The demonstrations are about things that we think are important for young people, but also about general things such as equality, freedom and the climate.” Levin does not want to say how many members the CJB has, but “it is between a hundred and a thousand, divided over eight departments in the Netherlands, including one in Utrecht”.
