The Finnish women’s national football team played a 1–1 draw against Slovakia in the World Cup qualifiers.

The Finnish women’s national football team was tied for 1–1 as a guest of Slovakia in Trnava. The match was already the sixth in a row for Helmare without a win. In addition to the draw, Finland has won two matches and lost two in the World Cup qualifiers.
The draw made it difficult to qualify for the World Cup qualifiers, as Finland is still third in the group, on an equal footing with Ireland. The second-ranked teams in each block will advance to the qualifiers.
