With 14 episodes and a movie, Firefly is one of the Serenity shortest-but also most popular-science fiction series. The series collected millions of fans for more than twenty years and became an absolute cult. The short lifetime has always been mourned in the fan base. The former leading actor Nathan Fillion (Castle, The Rookie) explains why he can live with it well.
