St. Louis Blues’ Dylan Holloway was taken to the hospital after a dangerous situation.

The NHL match between the St. Louis Blues and the Tampa Bay Lightning saw a scary situation. Towards the end of the opening set, the puck was hit by the Blues’ forward Dylan Holloway to the neck.

After receiving the blow, Holloway skated on the ice for a while until he headed to the changing room.

The Blues’ custodian held the head of the player sitting on the bench in place. Soon Holloway was taken away from the changing pad on a stretcher.

There was more than a minute left in the first half. It was played away at the start of the second period.

The Blues posted on social media during the match that Holloway is conscious and in a stable condition. He was taken to the hospital for observation.

– From what we have heard, he is doing well. It’s a good sign, Blues head coach Drew Bannister said, according to the club.

The Blues won the match 3–2.

Holloway has scored four goals and six points this season. He played for the Edmonton Oilers, who made it to the Stanley Cup finals last season.
