A Russian fighter jet has crashed in Montshegorsk, in the Murmansk region, reports the Russian news agency Tass.
Based on unconfirmed videos published on Twitter, it is a MiG-31 type fighter. The videos show that the plane was on fire when it crashed near the village of Riz-Guba.
According to some information, the plane would have fallen into the lake.
According to the Russian Ria Novosti news agency, the fighter was on a training flight.
Ria Novosti also says that both pilots on the plane used the ejection seat. They have been evacuated to safety and their lives are not in danger.
