Nobody expected it, but Pac-Man World will be entitled to a remake on the current consoles on the market, under the name of Pac-Man World Re-PAC. The official announcement was made during the Anime Expo 2022 in Los Angeles, during which Bandai Namco Entertainment performed a showcase and announced many new titles. If the game is not very popular, it does however have a very strong community which did not hesitate to comment on this unexpected return. A 3D action-platform game, the game was able to seduce another audience at the time, and this remaster/remake will allow you to find all the ingredients that made it successful in 1999. Bandai Namco Entertainment specifies that the game will include several modes, such as “Quest” mode, “Labyrinth” mode which transposes the classic PAC-MAN game into 3D mazes, and a full version of the original game in Original Mode which players can unlock by completing the main game.
The release is already known and set, it will be August 26 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
