Now Djokovic is fourth on the list published on the ATP tour website on Monday. The drop from second place was expected, as he was knocked out in the third round at the US Open.
The Italian who won the US Open Jannik Sinner continues in the top spot of the world list, followed by the German upstart Alexander Zverevof Spain Carlos Alcaraz and Djokovic.
