Aircraft engineer Hilal Özdilli and international lawyer Tuğçe Şahin, studying at a university in Hamburg, Germany, worked on the “Flying Man” project with a team of 7 people. Özdilli and Şahin, who developed the project with a team of 7 people named “Anka”, said that if all the tests were correct, “flying people” could be in the air in 2-3 years.

Stating that Anka is a completely independent institution from NGOs and other organizations, Şahin and Özdilli said, “As Anka institution, we carry out our work in different cities of both Germany and Turkey with engineers, lawyers, finance and foreign relations coordinator. We follow the process closely. We establish the committees required for consultation and carry out our research within this framework. As Anka institution, we aim to develop the production capacity of products with high future potential in the country.
