A professor struck by former students in front of his

An EPS teacher was assaulted by former students, Tuesday March 25, 2025. She was outside the establishment, in charge of her class for sports activities.

It is a shocking scene that took place Tuesday, March 25. An EPS teacher (physical education and sports) of the college of Ormeaux de Fontenay-aux-Roses (Hauts-de-Seine) was violently attacked by former students. She was “in charge of her class” for sports activities outside the establishment, as we learn in a collective gallery of teaching staff, reported by Bfmtv. The professor would have asked former students, aged 13 or 14, to leave and would have confiscated their ball.

“They attacked him verbally and then physically. After many insults, the attackers jumped on the back, hung on to his neck with a strangulation goal, and gave him several blows by pursuing her over fifty meters; they then threw her bag and its content in the mud,” we can read in the gallery.

Several students encouraged former violent students

In addition to this violent assault, several students encouraged the attackers. One of them is also one of the students who are still educated who got involved in this assault. Disciplinary procedure is underway about it. Among the 78 students witnessing this scene, some would have chanted: “It is well done for her, this dirty whore.”

Another teacher was injured as she was trying to prevent one of the attackers from filming the scene. Municipal police had to intervene.

Teachers are demanding more resources

In a press release, the Versailles Academy said it was “fully mobilized to guarantee serene working conditions for educational teams” and “will be particularly attentive to the situation of this establishment as part of the deployment of the tranquility plan”.

“We, teachers and education staff, are no longer able to fully ensure the security of our students,” we also read in the gallery. For his part, the prefect of Hauts-de-Seine, Alexandre Brugère, alerts to the role of parents, at the microphone of BFMTV: “It is obviously a drama for all of us that young people arrive at this end, when they are only 13 or 14 years old. The real question that must be asked, from my point of view is that of the parents’ place.”
