Composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart released a new song on Thursday – sort of.

Researchers discovered a copy of Mozart’s previously unknown work while assembling a new archive at a library in Leipzig, Germany.

The song is reminiscent of Mozart’s famous piece Eine kleine Nachtmusik. That’s why it was named Ganz kleine Nachtmusik, which loosely means Melkoinen’s little evening music.

The composition consists of seven parts and lasts about 12 minutes. Mozart composed the work for string trio.

Mozart was a teenager when he composed the piece. The year of composition probably dates to the end of the 1760s, according to the bulletin of the municipal library. The composer was born in 1756.

The rediscovered piece had its premiere in Mozart’s hometown of Salzburg on Thursday.
