A pregnant woman who appeared in one of the most widespread news images of the war in Ukraine has died. Her unborn baby also died, according to the news agency AP.
In a photo released by the AP on Wednesday, a woman holding her bloody lower abdomen is being transported out of a maternity and pediatric hospital in the port city of Mariupol. Russian troops fired on the hospital on Wednesday.
