10-year-old Yezen al-Kefarne, who was left skin and bones because of the blockade and attacks carried out by the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, lost his fight for life in the hospital.
THEY LEFT IT STARVING
Yezen’s health condition, which can consume soft foods such as eggs and bananas due to difficulty swallowing and digestive disorders from birth, deteriorated as a result of Israel’s forced starvation of the people of Gaza.
MELT DAY BY DAY
Yezen’s body, which was in need of special care, melted day by day and turned into skin and bones during his 10-day stay at the Abu Yusuf al-Najjar Hospital in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip. The little Palestinian boy lost his life yesterday after his struggle.
HIS HEALTH WAS DETERMINED WITH THE ATTACKS.
Speaking to AA correspondent, Yezen’s father Şerif el-Kefarne said that after the attacks, they first migrated to Cibaliya Refugee Camp, from there to Deir el-Belah, and then to Rafah.
HE WAS KEPT LIFE WITH SERUMS
The father, who said that he took special care of his son Yezen’s care and treatment before the war, said, “As a result of the attacks and malnutrition, my son’s health condition deteriorated. We transferred him to the hospital, where he tried to survive by using serums, connected to an oxygen tank.” said.
“SEE THE CONDITION OF THE CHILDREN IN GAZA”
The father, who noted that he and his wife and 3 children live in a school for displaced people in Rafah, stated that he could not provide healthy food for his children. Stating that children die of hunger every day in Gaza, father Kefarne said to the world: “See us, see the situation of the children in Gaza!” he called out.
