If you follow video game news diligently, you’ve probably heard of the complicated launch of Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty Vanguard’s big competitor. Between the bugs galore, the problems of balancing between the infantrymen and those who use the vehicles, the very unequal weapons too, the absent functionalities, the FPS of Electronic Arts undergoes the anger of the players who do not cease to seek compensation from the editor. But then, the patches are slow and the still motivated community is getting impatient, to the point thata petition has just been launched against the game, outright demanding a full refund of the game. While there are only 39,838 signatures at the time of this writing, this petition is however gaining momentum, with many media reporting relay the information and who could therefore give weight to these reimbursements requested. The author of the petition, a certain Satoshi Nakamoto, specified that if the 50,000 signatures are reached, one of the best lawyers specialized in class-action is ready to take the case to court and ask Electronic Arts to accountable.
