Rescue services, ambulance and police rushed to Åkern, which is located between Pilgrimstad and Brunflo, at half past one on Monday. A car, which was traveling in the direction of Östersund, had driven into the ditch for unknown reasons. Four people were in the car, one of whom was taken by ambulance to Östersund Hospital.
– We had to close southbound lanes during the operation. We investigated whether there was a leak, but found none, says Mats Kronsten, internal officer at the rescue service.
