The police were alerted at 18.30 about the suspected shooting on Artillerigatan in Landskrona.
– There were several callers who told that they heard several loud bangs and that there was a person on the ground, says Patric Fors, press spokesperson at Skåne Police.

Several patrols and an ambulance were sent to the scene.
– The ambulance staff started emergency care at the scene before the injured person was taken to hospital, says Patric Fors.
The extent of the victim’s injuries is unclear.
In connection with the police operation, a larger area has been cordoned off for technical examination. Among other things, witness interviews are underway and a gun dog has been called to the scene to search for traces.
– We also have patrols at the hospital in Helsingborg to ensure a safe working environment for the staff, says Patric Fors.
There are currently no arrests or suspects in connection with the incident.
