Shortly before 10pm on Tuesday evening, SOS Alarm received several calls that several shots had been fired in Upplands-Bro, north of Stockholm.
When the police arrived at the scene, members of the public performed CPR on a man with a gunshot wound.
– An ambulance has been dispatched and the man is now on his way to hospital. It appears to be very serious injuries, says police spokesperson Ola Österling, who does not have information on the man’s age.
The shooting must have taken place outdoors in a residential area in central Bro. The police have an extensive effort in the area, including with the regional task force.
Earlier in the evening, another shooting took place, in Jordbro south of Stockholm. A man in his 30s was seriously injured.
– We don’t see a natural connection, but we don’t rule anything out, says Ola Österling.
