The alarm about a fully developed house fire came at 6:30 p.m. It was initially unclear if anyone was injured in the fire, but the police now fear that the owner of the house was in the home when the fire started and was unable to get out.
A preliminary investigation into arson has been launched because the cause of the fire is unknown, the police write on their website.
The fire scene is cordoned off pending a technical investigation.
