All flights at Port-au-Prince’s Toussaint Louverture International Airport were temporarily suspended, and the plane that came under fire was diverted to the neighboring Dominican Republic.

Armed gangs in Haiti’s capital have been targeting airplanes in recent weeks as the country’s security situation has deteriorated.
