What sets the website apart? The new website poe2filter.com allows anyone to create an individual filter for Path of Exile 2 easily and free of charge. No programming knowledge is required. A tutorial welcomes you to the website and explains the most important functions.
You then have to decide which items should be displayed and which you would rather not see. There is also the function to determine which items should be highlighted. These items are then also noted on your minimap so that you don’t miss them under any circumstances.
If you want something even more individual, you can also play with the sounds of the drops. The site allows you to assign a specific tone to valuable items, such as those that are worth over 20 exalted orbs. Thanks to the website, you can even store your own sounds as an MP3 file.
How do I use the filters? First you should follow the tutorial on the website, which will show you the most important functions. If you have items that your character absolutely needs, you should add them in the “Custom Rules” tab and select “S-Tier – Purple” instead of “Show” in the last selection option. This way you will be clearly notified when this item drops.
Once you are finished with your filter, you can simply download it by clicking on the blue download button and place the file poe2filter.filter in your directory C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2 or alternatively: %userprofile%\ Insert Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2.
Then open Path of Exile 2 and go to the options. There you select the “Game” or “Game” tab. Now you can choose your filter. The looks and sounds should change immediately.
You can reconfigure, change and adjust your filter as you like at any time via the website. The tool even remembers your filter as long as you don’t delete the website data. So you don’t always have to start from the beginning.
