Blizzard has integrated a game mode called Hero Mastery into Overwatch 2. This mod has been released to players with the latest update. Hero Mastery is a mod that allows players to successfully complete missions with certain heroes. Overwatch 2 Embraces Hero Mastery Mode
Originally, the Hero Mastery mod was planned to be an element of Overwatch 2’s massive Season 6 launch. However, Blizzard had to delay the launch of this mod. That doesn’t mean Season 6 is poor in content. On the contrary, Overwatch 2’s Season 6 update was the most comprehensive update the game has received since its initial release. New Support character Ilari, Flashpoint game mode and the game’s first PvE story missions came with this update.
Players should try the Hero Mastery mode if they are looking for story-based content. This mode offers a single-player experience with leaderboards. Players can choose from three difficulty levels for all heroes in Overwatch 2, with the goal of earning a maximum of five stars with each hero. Currently, Mercy, Reinhardt and Tracer are among the heroes available in this mode.

Hero Mastery isn’t the only innovation in Overwatch 2’s Season 6. Blizzard has also leaked some information about the upcoming Overwatch 2 Anniversary event. Starting September 19, the Anniversary event will bring back popular Overwatch 2 mods from the past for a limited time.
Especially the return of Battle for Olympus, Catch-A-Mari, Starwatch and Mischief and Magic modes is expected with great excitement. Additionally, some Legendary skins that players can purchase using Overwatch Credits will also be available in the shop during the event. These credits can be earned through special missions offered as part of the Anniversary event.
