The Transformers franchise last returned to the cinema in 2023 with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. In October, a new part of the sci-fi series will be released in cinemas, this time animated.
Transformers One, which in the original features the voices of stars like Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson, seems to be very worthwhile for fans. No other Transformers film scores as highly on Rotten Tomatoes.
Transformers One gets a strong Rotten Tomatoes rating
At the US review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the new Transformers animation film has received 39 first reviews of its release, strong average of 90 percent. This makes it (along with the spin-off Bumblebee) the best part of the series ever.
For Collider, for example, Jeff Ewing writes:
Transformers One is a film that brings the characters and factions that franchise fans love Complexity and new emotions while providing enough drama for a new audience.
