A new racing game on PS5 reminds gamers of their childhood as it zips iconic toy cars around a living room.
What game is it? The trailer announces Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, a sequel to Hot Wheels Unleashed, a racing game that puts you in control of the toy cars of the same name.
The racetracks are also visually reminiscent of the tracks that were available to buy with the toy cars. As in the first part, there should again be an extensive editor with which players can design their own racetracks, similar to Trackmania.
The game also features online multiplayer and over 130 vehicles that players can customize to their own design.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged will be released on October 19, 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

What does the trailer show? In the trailer we see a race with the iconic toy cars. The route offers various obstacles such as a loop, various jump passages and falling balls, which should bowl the cars off the road.
We also see that the racetrack not only runs along the orange parts of the track, but also leads the cars over a table in a family’s house or through the garden. The cars not only have to negotiate stone tiles, but also high grass and a sandpit.
Players remember their childhood
What do players say about the trailer? In the comments on YouTube, many players feel nostalgic and reminded of their childhood.
Although it seems as if one or the other missed the first Hot Wheels Unleashed, the anticipation for the second part seems to be great.
