The Estonian Reform Party is scheduled to choose a candidate for prime minister today Kaja Kallasen successor, says the Estonian Broadcasting Company ERR.
Kallas, the chairman of the Reform Party, who has been the Prime Minister of Estonia since 2021, is transitioning to the position of High Representative of the EU’s foreign and security policy.
It is believed that Estonia’s current climate minister will be appointed as the candidate for prime minister Kristen Michal.
It is believed that the government will continue with the same composition despite the change of prime minister, ERR tells.
