This September, the Association Marion la main tendue is launching “La tête et les bandoulières”, the first podcast entirely dedicated to bullying at school. Ten episodes to listen to, whether you are a child, a parent or a professional.
From afar or up close, bullying is frightening, but the topic can sometimes seem vague to children and parents alike, especially in terms of practical solutions. How to talk about it, target it, how to confront it? A podcast can answer.
Victims, parents, professionals share their reality
On September 10, the Marion la main tendue Association launched “Head and Shoulders“, the podcast that gives a voice to those who, every day in France, fight against bullying. From health professionals in child psychiatry to education professionals, including victims, parents and public figures, each personality affected by bullying expresses their experiences and offers concrete solutions to combat bullying and cyberbullying. At the rate of one episode per week (on Thursdays) for 10 weeks.
Practical solutions every week
For its founder, Nora Tirane, this new podcast dedicated to bullying is intended to be a space for discussion and reflection, where each guest brings a unique perspective: How to combat bullying in an establishment in a concrete way? How to develop empathy in the classroom? How can sport help? What alternatives are there to combat this phenomenon?
“We are proud of this very first podcast dedicated to the fight against school bullying, an unprecedented initiative in France. By highlighting authentic testimonies and concrete actions, we hope to encourage collective awareness and inspire sustainable solutions. We invite the French to join us each week to listen to inspiring stories and practical advice that can make a difference.” A simple format to discover every Thursday and listen to freely with your children to break the taboo.
As a reminder, 1 in 5 students is now a victim of bullying in France.
