Germany took action to fill the skilled worker shortage. For this, Germany had invited professionals from other countries to work in its country. It has been revealed that there is now a shortage of heaters and plumbers in Germany, where doctors primarily prefer to work in Turkey. In the statement, it was stated that 60 thousand plumbers were needed.
DOCTORS PREFER GERMANY IN TURKEY
Occupational sectors that migrate abroad from Turkey continue to differ. First preferred by doctors, Germany is looking for qualified personnel in fields such as the IT sector, engineering, architecture, transportation, construction and aviation.
According to the news of Ali Gülen from Sözcü newspaper, a new personnel shortage has emerged in Germany. The fact that, under the pressure of the Green party, houses can no longer be fitted with gas or any other type of heating system without a heat pump, all eyes turned to central heating and plumbers.
OPEN FOR 60 THOUSAND PEOPLE
Since the systems of millions of houses in Germany will change, calculations started immediately and it was announced that there was a shortage of 60 thousand plumbers. With the said development, the question of how to go from Turkey to Germany began to be asked.
“THE DEMAND IS LOW, THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES IS LOW”
Plumbers who want to go to Germany from Turkey, journeymen or mastery certificates in this field alone will not be enough. They will need to prove that they have received training in this field, that is, they have received vocational training.
Those who have these documents will be able to apply to companies in Germany before the new Skilled Immigration Law is passed. A B1 level of German will make the visa even easier.
Helmut Bramann, General Manager of the Central Union of Plumbers and Heaters, emphasized that such staff is necessary not only for those who install new installations, but also for those who want to modernize their bathrooms and systems.
Making a statement to the Funke media group, Rmann stated that so far, German plumbers have modernized 900,000 heating systems a year and renovated 1.2 million bathrooms.
While it was announced that 400,000 plumbers worked in Germany last year, it is stated that 70 percent of the houses in Europe will become suitable for a heat pump with a simple conversion, while others will need thermal insulation and renovation costs.
