In the streets, in addition to tear gas and stun grenades, the police fired live ammunition, sometimes with large calibers, to drive back the demonstrators who had reached the gates of the presidential palace for the second time in four months. The peaceful processions had to turn back.

At the end of the day, gangs of police officers and members of the intelligence services dressed in civilian clothes chased the demonstrators in the alleys of the residential districts.
