A package of sensors

Which sensors are installed? Devices are used to monitor body temperature and heart rate, and the fitness tracking ring also detects movement using a 3-axis acceleration sensor and a gyroscope. An EDA sensor is also installed. This registers the change in the conductivity of the skin as a reaction to emotional stress.

How does the ring want to improve my sleep? The app also brings together all the data at night, so that, according to the provider, light, deep and REM sleep phases as well as your breathing quality during sleep can be monitored. After the analysis, the app makes suggestions on how you can improve the quality of your sleep.

How long does the battery last? Amazfit says that with average use, the ring will last for about four days without recharging. The 20.5 mAh battery takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to fully recharge. The process is wireless.

I already have the Amazfit Balance watch, do they work together? According to the manufacturer, they can be used side by side without any problems. The data is automatically combined in the app. However, the watch is not necessary for the ring to make sense. It also works on its own.

What about third parties? Synchronization with third-party apps such as Google Fit, Apple Health or komoot and others is also possible.
