THAT ARTICLE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM EFFECT

The phrase “skin and venereology specialists, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons and those with a medical aesthetic certificate approved by the Ministry” in the fourteenth paragraph of the additional article 1, which regulates the issues that can be allowed in order to increase the quality and efficiency of health institutions, has been abolished.

THE SCOPE OF BEAUTY AND AESTHETICS HAS BEEN EXPANDED

With the change in the regulation, the scope was expanded by allowing physicians from different branches to perform these procedures in line with the training curricula.

The relevant paragraph is as follows:

“Provided that the necessary physical space and minimum medical equipment defined for the polyclinic room in this Regulation are provided, training curricula and certificates are provided by skin and venereology specialists, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery specialists and physicians who have a medical aesthetics certificate approved by the Ministry within the medical center, polyclinics and clinics. “Within the scope of the competencies acquired by the medical institution, aesthetic health services can be provided within the framework of medical practices permitted in the health institution.”

The temporary article 4 of the regulation titled “Beauty and aesthetics or the harmony of centers and units opened for this purpose” has also been abolished.
