By the way, part 1 and 2 are currently available on Steam for a total of just under € 5. The offer is still valid until March 13, 2025. However, the two games are on sale relatively often:
Who writes here? Meinmmo author Ody actually feels at home in strategy and role-playing games. With stealth games he (apart from Assassin’s Creed times) he has significantly less in the hat-but he likes to make an exception for the nasty styx.
Stealth action in a twisted fantasy world
The protagonist of the series is Styx: A nasty goblin who steals and assembles through a fantasy world. The world of Styx plays with well-known fantasy tropes-orcs and goblins are suppressed by the bad people, elves and dwarfs, which gives history a fresh twist.
Blades of Greed does not want to completely throw the formula of the first two games overboard, but refine. As Styx, we again explore large, vertical levels and prefer to sneak past enemies than to face them in open fight.
Unlike in the previous parts, we do not accept any orders from others this time, but take our own way. On board his Zeppelin, Styx chases with his crew to Quartz – a mysterious energy source that allows us to control enemies such as puppets.
Styx has a variety of tools and skills to switch off the opponents quietly. This is also needed bitterly, because as goblin we are not exactly the born fighter. We are already getting to the point at which I give up the games again and again – I’m just not doing well in sneaking.
A wonderfully nasty protagonist
Although the genre is actually not for me, I keep returning to the games. This is especially to blame for this: I prefer not to be verbally finished by anyone else when I gave the spoon in Shards of Darkness and commented on my failure with a biting saying.
Styx ‘cynical way and his sardonal humor are a matter of taste, but it hits mine. For this reason, I will soon break my head again at the previous games and wait with great excitement for Blades of Greed to do the same.
Styx is one of these protagonists with whom I can be really angry and can also feel good for you. Do you want to express your bad vein in role -playing games, then Meinmmo has exactly the right list for you: Dragon Age the Veilguard is too nice for you? In these role -playing games you can be wonderfully angry
