Triple virus outbreak; It mostly manifests itself with symptoms such as fever, runny nose, sneezing, nausea-vomiting, diarrhea, muscle-joint pain and loss of appetite.
NATURAL NUTRITION WARNING AGAINST TRIPLE VIRUS OUTBREAK
Specialist from the Department of Infectious Diseases said that these three infections can be confused with each other because their symptoms are similar. Dr. Ahmet Cem Özuğuz said, “Since different viruses are added end to end, complaints arising from the infection last a long time. It should not be forgotten that every viral infection is different and the treatment approach may vary depending on the type of infection, its severity and the health status of the individual. Any treatment decisions regarding viral infections should be made by a healthcare professional. “Self-medication is not appropriate, especially since antibiotics are ineffective against viruses, and medication should not be used without a doctor’s recommendation,” he said.
Specialist Dr. Özuğuz pointed out the importance of strengthening immunity to protect against viruses and said, “All nutritional elements should be consumed in a balanced manner and natural ingredients should be used as much as possible. “A nutrition plan that includes meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains and oilseeds is essential for a strong immunity against these infections,” he said.
“SOME SERIOUS VIRAL INFECTIONS MAY NOT HEAL ON THEIR SPONTANEOUS”
Specialist stated that the viral infections seen in the epidemic usually healed on their own and in many cases antiviral drugs were not used. Dr. Özuğuz said, “Some viral infections may be more serious and require medical intervention,” and listed some of the treatment methods generally used in the treatment of viral infections as follows:
“Symptomatic treatment: Viral infections are usually treated symptomatically. Painkillers, antipyretics, and other symptomatic medications may be used to relieve fever, pain, and other bothersome symptoms.
Antiviral drugs: Antiviral drugs are available against some viral infections. For example, antiviral medications such as oseltamivir (Tamiflu) may be prescribed for influenza (flu). However, for these drugs to be effective, it is important to use them in the early stages of the infection.
Immunoglobulin treatment: In some cases, immunoglobulin treatment can be applied to strengthen the immune system. This treatment includes antibodies used to support the immune system and fight the virus.
Vaccines: Vaccines are available against some viral infections and may be effective in preventing or reducing the severity of infection. Vaccines are used especially against viruses such as influenza, Hepatitis B and HPV.
Hydration: Staying hydrated can help the body fight infection and prevent dehydration.” (DHA)
