A mummified body was found in an apartment – during the viewing of the Crown Marshal

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

At the beginning of the year, the Kronofogden had put up an apartment of 40 square meters in Kortedala in Gothenburg for forced sale because the owner had not been able to get hold of it.

In August, the police allegedly received an alarm from an inspector at the Kronofogden who had a viewing of the apartment. Then the inspector must have found a dead man inside the apartment, Aftonbladet reports.

In the police incident report, it appears that the dead man, who was in his 80s, “is lying halfway under a bed in the living room” and is described as having looked like a “mummy”.

There were only skeletons left

The inspector does not know how many people have already been on viewings of the home. No one at the screening is said to have seen the deceased man.

According to the inspector at the Kronofogden, he must have told the police that the body may have been missed because there was a lot of debris in the apartment. Homes that the Kronofogden puts out are always sold in their existing condition.

The newspaper writes that when the police arrived at the scene, they must have determined that the body may have been in the apartment for two to three years and that there were almost only skeletons left. The police do not suspect any crime behind the death.

The Bailiff is tight-lipped about the incident

Fredrik Karlbergsection manager at the Kronofogden, says the newspaper that he does not want to comment on the specific case due to confidentiality.

– What I can say is that we carried out an eviction, i.e. a handshake. We have sold an apartment executively that has new owners. We are always looking for the person in question before an eviction, and if we can’t find them, we help the new owners get in place.
