A new mount in World of Warcraft is set to be a fan favorite. Because the mount proudly carries your weapons.
There are now well over 1,000 mounts in World of Warcraft and most of them are quite similar in their basic functions. It’s rare for a mount to appear that does something completely new – but that’s exactly the case in patch 11.0.7 if you can secure Jani.
Blizzard presented the new main content of patch 11.0.7 here:
What kind of mount is this? The mount “Jani’s Trashpile” is a new mount that you can get in Patch 11.0.7 – at least if you put in the work to play a lot of content. Strictly speaking, Jani is not a normal mount because you don’t ride the Dino-Loa. Instead, you are transformed directly into Jani, so you continue to control your character – you only have the appearance of the Loa.
What makes the mount so special? Jani was one of the smaller Loa from Battle for Azeroth and was particularly known for collecting a lot of trash, playing pranks, and stealing. The mount will be able to do exactly that. Because in addition to the striking “Hek!” Hey! Hek!” with each summon, Jani also proudly carries your weapons while sitting on the mount. Apparently Jani identified your weapons as “junk.”
This makes Jani the first mount that can carry weapons – even if it’s just a cosmetic effect. Of course, like any other mount, Jani cannot fight.
How do you get the mount? To get Jani’s Trashpile in patch 11.0.7, you have to complete a very long meta achievement. Basically, you have to complete all of the content in the Battle for Azeroth expansion to enjoy the mount. We have shown you the exact requirements for this here.
If you want, you can start completing the various achievements now, as most of them can be completed in advance. Otherwise, you can be prepared to play all the content over the Christmas holidays – because patch 11.0.7 goes live a week before Christmas.
