On social media, some fashionistas have decided to share their best tips for reducing the number of clothes to pack in their luggage, without ever wearing the same outfit twice. Content creator Maayan Elfassy, better known by the pseudonym @maayanyve, has made the trend “look reproducer“, her specialty. On her TikTok account, she explains to her 61,000 subscribers how to wear the same shorts, tops or pants over and over again, without it being noticed. Her latest tutorial, viewed more than 9 million times, allows you to create four separate items of clothing from a single dress.”A saving of so much money!“, her fans thank her. To demonstrate, the young fashionista begins by dressing in a long, tight-fitting piece with a cowl neckline and leopard print. She then simply tucks the straps of her dress inwards and slides it down to her waist, to create a long, bohemian-style skirt.
The young woman then puts on a pair of tight black shorts, which she puts on under her dress. She folds the bottom of the piece over itself until she gets a very short dress. The last step is to smooth out the excess fabric by hiding it inside the shorts. For the fourth and final look, simply tuck the top and bottom of the dress inwards to get a miniskirt. Magic.
