In the statement made by the airport management, it was stated that the accident occurred around 14:00, while the Albuquerque Fire Department announced that the pilot, who was the only person on the plane, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller also said in his statement on social media, “We are grateful to the teams that reached the scene for their quick intervention. We pray for the pilot.”
While Kirtland Air Force Base, located near Albuquerque International Sunport Airport, confirmed the accident, no information was given about details such as the aircraft type and the cause of the accident.
