Member of Parliament of the Sweden Democrats Lars Wistedt has died during the trip of the NATO delegation in Canada, says the Swedish public broadcasting company SVT.
60-year-old Wistedt reportedly passed away the night before Monday local time.
According to SVT, Wistedt was the spokesman for his party’s defense policy and the vice-chairman of the defense committee.
The issue has been reported in Finland, among other things Ilta-Sanomat.
