A 25-year-old man has been shot several times in Helsingborg. A large area in the Berga district is cordoned off and the police are working with dogs and drones, among other things.
The shooting happened at a quarter past eleven on Saturday night. The man was taken to hospital by private individuals and his injuries are considered serious.
Known to the police
During the night, the police cordoned off both the crime scene and outside the hospital. Police technicians have searched the areas and some findings have been made, but no suspect has yet been arrested.
According to information to Sydsvenskan, a shot man is already known to the police and there are suspicions that the shooting may be connected to gang crime.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
