A man was robbed in his car when he was refueling in Gothenburg

A man in Gothenburg was attacked at a gas station during the night by masked men while he was filling up.
– There must have been two people who attacked him, the time aspect is a bit unclear as he may have passed out, says Thomas Fuxborg, press spokesperson at the police.

As the man was refueling, the men appeared, punched and kicked him before stealing his car.

– The man states that the perpetrators came to the scene in a taxi. They must have been younger, masked and dressed in dark clothes, says Thomas Fuxborg.

The man was taken to hospital with a suspected fracture to his face and pain all over his body.

– He is taken to hospital with a possible fracture of the jaw and he mainly hurts his knee after several kicks, says Thomas Fuxborg.

The petrol station was closed when the robbery took place and the police only access the surveillance cameras during the morning. No one has yet been arrested.
