The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Thursday evening, the time when Stortorget in Växjö was full of people when Ms. Snusk performed in the glass cage.
Officers detained a man who was disturbing the public order, and they took him to the police to have him removed from the square.
– In connection with that, some girls come forward and tell them that the man has groped them in the audience. But the girls disappear into the sea of people, says Tim Christenssen, on-call preliminary investigation manager.
A report of sexual harassment has been made. The man is suspected but not detained.
– We have good conditions to investigate this. The place is covered by cameras, and the perpetrator has been identified. We are only looking for those who have been affected.
