According to a lawsuit that was submitted to the Nyköping district court this week, the man allegedly ignored the policeman’s signal to stop and then drove away from the police.
In fleeing from the police, he allegedly drove against traffic so that oncoming vehicles had to brake hard and swerve to avoid a head-on collision. The man is also said to have had narcotics in his blood during or after the trip.
In questioning, the man admits to illegal driving but denies gross negligence, gross drunken driving and minor drug offences.
