According to the police, it was a collision between two cars that led to one of the cars being hit by a truck.
The injured man was taken care of by the medical service. Region Östergötland tells TT that he suffered life-threatening injuries. He is in critical condition and has been taken to the University Hospital in Linköping.
The road was closed to traffic during the rescue and clean-up work. The truck overturned and came to rest on the side of the road.
A preliminary investigation regarding negligence in traffic has been initiated to be able to investigate the accident, among other things technically.
