A large PvE MMORPG gets its 21st expansion today, increasing the level to 130

The MMORPG EverQuest II has been online for a long time and is far from over. The 21st expansion for the online role-playing game is now being released, which brings a lot of new content.

What is EverQuest II? The MMORPG has been around since 2004. It was developed by Verant Interactive. It is the successor to the first part Everquest, released in 1999, which had a major influence on later MMORPGs.

EverQuest II will celebrate its 20th birthday in 2024 – as will World of Warcraft. Updates for the game continue to appear. Players are currently receiving additional content in the form of a large expansion called “Scars of Destruction”.

The expansion celebrates the game’s 20th anniversary. The developers would like to thank the players and especially the long-time fans:

We put our heart and soul into creating “Scars of Destruction” to make the 20th anniversary of EverQuest II an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to see players’ reactions.

What do you need to know about the release? Release is already on November 20th. The extension costs 35 euros in the standard version. However, there are also more expensive versions that cost up to 250 euros and include additional content in the form of mounts or recipes.
