Relations between Algeria and Niger are warming up after a cold spell, which began with the coup against President Mohamed Bazoum in July 2023. Niger’s Prime Minister, Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine, is on an official visit to Algeria accompanied by a large ministerial delegation.
