If you have, or had a pet during your childhood, you know better than anyone that these 4-legged companions can very often move us. Whether it is by making us laugh or cry with joy through their attitude, or even by making us scream when they do something stupid. With them, you are sure not to get bored on a daily basis. And sometimes, they even manage to surprise us in a completely unexpected way. This is what happened recently to a young American farmer and her dog, Blizzie, a beige Labrador.
The story takes place in the United States and more precisely on a farm, located in the town of Lincoln, in the state of Missouri. On her farm, Glori Rushing, the young woman, raises several species of animals. To help her, she can count on the support of her faithful Blizzie, who has always been gentle and obedient. Recently, her dog gave birth to a litter of Labrador babies. At the same time, a goat from the farm also gave birth, but unfortunately everything did not go as Glori hoped. Of the four expected kids, three did not survive. With the loss of these three babies, the mother ended up rejecting and abandoning the fourth who was alive. She refused to feed him and give him the care he needed. The owner of the farm had to take care of the little one herself and named her Rita.
Seeing this, Blizzie reacted very quickly, out of maternal instinct. One day, the dog crossed the enclosure where the goats were and took the kid with her. She quickly included him in her litter of puppies and took care of Rita as if she were her own child. Since then, Blizzie has completely adopted it. The farmer was surprised by such behavior from her dog and filmed the scene to keep a memory. In the filmed images, we see the mother labrador lying calmly on a blanket while her puppies and Rita suckle her milk. A touching moment, but also memorable!
