a hot start for the Tactical RPG the 1st digits

Developed by the Artdink studio and published by Square Enix, Triangle Strategy is a Tactical-RPG released on Nintendo Switch on March 4th. Worn by Tomoya Asano (Bravely Default, Octopath Traveler) and Nintendo, which handled the entire promotional campaign, the game is a great success. After 15 days of operation, sales of Triangle Strategy are approaching 800,000 copies distributed worldwide, including 200,000 which have been provided by Japan and other countries in Asia. This performance is very similar to the success of Octopath Traveler which had exceeded one million copies sold in just one month. This is all the more admirable for a game of the caliber of Triangle Strategy, since the period is loaded with mainstream blockbusters. Proof that the game has found its audience, despite a niche target. To celebrate this good news, the game’s illustrator, Naoki Ikushima, shared a drawing made especially for the occasion on his Twitter account. You can find our Triangle Strategy test right here.
