A historically effective NBA Finals from Denvers star duo

Denver star players Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were in a wild mood in the NBA Finals. Miami’s pitching game was weak.

The Denver Nuggets took the first place in the basketball NBA finals when they clearly beat the Miami Heat by 109-94. Denver leads the final series with victories 2–1.

Denver’s star players Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were in a wild mood, as both scored a triple-double in the match. In the history of the NBA Finals, two triple-doubles by the same team have never been seen before.

Jokic scored 32 points, grabbed 21 rebounds and made 10 assists. Murray, on the other hand, scored 34 points. He grabbed 10 rebounds and also made ten baskets.

– We have had good moments together, but not in the NBA finals. These guys made history and no one has done it before. To date, this was their best performance as a duo in their seven years together, Denver’s head coach Michael Malone glowed.

Malone also praised the team’s defensive play as fantastic.

– We held that team to 94 points. Their field goal percentage was 37 and they hit just 11 3-pointers. We were at a high level in defense and rebounding.

The difference was rife

The first quarters were evenly matched, but after the third quarter, Denver was already in the lead by 14 points. The difference temporarily stretched up to 21 points. There was no doubt about the winner, even though Miami was nine points away in the final moments of the match.

Miami, which threw poorly, scored the most points Jimmy Butlerwho scored 28 points. Bam Adebayo scored 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, but only for them Caleb Martin (10) scored more than ten points.

In addition to Denver’s star duo, the visiting team’s rookie player Christian Braun was prominently displayed. The 22-year-old scored 15 points in just under 20 minutes of playing time and failed to throw in a game situation only once.

– Thanks to Nikola and Jamal for playing me free and letting me be myself. That’s what I value in this team, Braun beamed after the match.
