Russia is increasing pressure around the Ukrainian capital. On Monday morning, an airstrike hit an apartment building in the Obolonsky district.

There are no confirmed data on the number of deaths. According to the Ukrainian Civil Protection Service, there are at least three dead and a dozen injured. The news agency Reuters reported one and the British broadcaster two dead.
Dozens of residents of the house have been evacuated from a building that has suffered severe damage. In the yard of the house there are car bodies burned to the ground by the force of the impact. A fire broke out in the building after the attack.
Kiev is preparing for a large-scale Russian attack in the coming days. The city has food and medicine for an estimated two weeks. Governor of Kiev Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said in the morning that the evacuations will also continue for the fifth day.

There are also fighting in the nearby cities of Kiev. At least one person has died in Brovary, east of Kiev, on Monday, local authorities said. The death toll was the city secretary of Brovary. The sounds of explosions have also been heard in Irpin, Budva and Vyshorod in the evening and at night, local media report.
Explosions have also been heard at Hostomel and Sikorsky airports and in the vicinity of the Kiev TV tower.
