Amazon Prime is becoming the home of German comedy. After the highlight LOL: Last One Laughing recently entered its third season, there is now a replacement. The One Mic Stand format brings comedians together with other celebrities. And one of them you won’t believe your eyes.

The concept goes in the direction of a coaching show. Famous German-speaking comedians such as Hazel Brugger and Tedros Teclebrhan each teach one or two celebrity pupils such as national team player Mats Hummels or Fahri Yardim the craft of comedy and then send them onto a stand-up stage. There Teclebrhan entertains in between with various skits. And whoever saw the trailer will be particularly looking forward to a performance.

Because Brugger has anyway Dr. Karl Lauterbach under her wing. According to the Amazon Prime press release, the Minister of Health had himself committed to comedy before taking office. The assembled electorate of the Federal Republic can be excited.

The fans will soon see which skits the deputy has up his sleeve. At the July 15, 2022 All five episodes of One Mic Stand will be available on Amazon Prime.
